The Purpose of the Medical Missionary Training School:
"The principles of health reform are found in the word of God. The gospel of health is to be firmly linked with the ministry of the word. It is the Lord's design that the restoring influence of health reform shall be a part of the last great efforts to proclaim the gospel message." - Medical Ministry, p259
Education in health principles has never been needed more than now. It demands the attention of all that have at heart the well being of their fellow men. The world is sick and wherever the children of men dwell, suffering abounds. On every hand there is a seeking for relief.
To understand the physical laws governing the body and to bring life practices into harmony with these laws is a duty of first importance. There is a need for understanding the many factors contributing to true happiness, a cheerful home, obedience to the laws of God and proper relationship to one's fellow men. "We have come to a time when every member of the church should take hold of medical missionary work. The world is a lazar house filled with victims of both physical and spiritual disease. Everywhere people are perishing for lack of knowledge of the truths that have been committed to us. The members of the church are in need fo an awakening, that they may realize their responsibility to impart these truths." Testimonies, Vol.7,p.62.
These thoughts form the basis of the Centurion Ministry/Bible School of Health. We desire this school to be a place where men and women can come and get trained as True Gospel Missionary Evangelists, that they may go forth to spread the good news of Christ's soon coming.
